Here at Bristol Tutor Company, we take pride in making sure that all of our learners progress with their studies. Recently, the functional skills courses have become more popular. These courses are courses that learners take if they do not already have a GCSE grade 4 or C in maths or English. This qualification can be used for many reasons but the main one is to get into University. It can also be used to finish apprenticeships and better your employment chances. Whatever you’re planning to do you will likely need a GCSE or an equivalent so these functional skills courses are going to be essential for these applications.
There are a plethora of functional skills course providers but you need to ensure that the one you choose are Ofqual regulated. The maths and English courses that we recommend here are always Ofqual regulated as this is what employers and Universities look for. With the course, you will work through multiple exercises, practice questions and exam questions. With the course, you will also be given access to video tutorials that will explain simply each exercise.
